18 March 2025 – Professor Cecilia Chan takes centre stage with Opening Remarks and Keynote at the Alibaba Cloud Academy Onwards Summit in Singapore.
On 18 March 2025, Prof. Cecilia Chan delivered her welcome address at the Alibaba Cloud Academy Onwards Summit 2025 in Singapore, which brought together experts from education and academia to explore opportunities in AI and sustainability, paving the way for meaningful advancements. Prof. Chan also served as a Keynote speaker at the Summit, sharing her expert insights on the applications and future possibilities of AI in education. She later took part in the Summit's roundtab


The UGC HKTEA AI CoP was successfully launched on 11 March 2025, witnessed by hundreds of educators, researchers, students, industry partners, and NGOs.
On 11 March 2025, over 400 participants joined the launch event for the Community of Practice (CoP) on Enriching Future-Ready Education with GenAI and Beyond, established under the Hong Kong Teaching Excellence Alliance (HKTEA) and backed by the by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee (UGC).
