Professor Cecilia Chan Shares Expertise at Two Major Education Conferences in Tianjin (September 2025)

In September 2025, Professor Cecilia Chan attended two major conferences in Tianjin: the International Conference on the Development of Engineering Education (ICDEE 2025) hosted by Tianjin University and the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, and the Artificial Intelligence Empowering Global Education Governance Conference at Tianjin University.

Professor Chan shared insights on how AI is transforming education, discussing frameworks for governance and assessment. Her presentation, “From AI-giarism to AI Literacy,” sparked conversations on rethinking assessment practices in the age of AI, engaging with global peers to explore future-oriented solutions.

Professor Chan expressed her gratitude to Professor Zhang Zhen, Professor Haixia Qie, and Nancy for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation, which made the trip both productive and enjoyable.
