Professor Cecilia Chan Among Esteemed Judges at the GESAwards Hong Kong Final (6 November 2025)

On 6 November 2025, Professor Cecilia Chan participated as a judge at the Global EdTech Startups Awards’​ (GESAwards) Hong Kong Final organised by Esperanza. The shortlisted teams showcased a wide range of innovative EdTech solutions, including English and Chinese assessment technologies and creative approaches to teaching sustainability through programming.

Professor Chan expressed her appreciation to Amazon for supporting the event and acknowledged the inspiring contributions from all participating teams. She was pleased to serve as a judge alongside Mr. Clifford Duke, Professor Natalia Kucirkova, Dr. Fanny Wai Fan Lam, and Ms. Winnie Leung, and noted that the experience reflected the strong momentum within Hong Kong’s EdTech community. She also extends her congratulations Dustykid AI for their outstanding performance in the competition.
