Seminar Series on Assessment in the AI Era – Second Seminar: Enhancing Feedback with AI (6 October 2025)

The second session of the AI Assessment Workshop Series took place on 6 October 2025 at The University of Hong Kong, featuring and featured presentations by Professor Cecilia Chan and Dr Wei Dai. Titled “Enhancing Feedback with AI: Insights from Research”, their insights prompted meaningful discussion and highlighted emerging considerations for feedback practices in the AI era.

During the session, participants examined the differences between manual feedback and AI-assisted feedback and discussed the implications for assessment in higher education. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in teaching and learning, the workshop emphasised the importance of developing feedback literacy and providing effective and motivating feedback in AI-supported learning environments.
