HKU AI in Education Lab Welcomes Shanghai Jiao Tong University Delegation (28 November 2025)

On 28 November 2025, Professor Cecilia Chan and her HKU AI in Education Lab welcomed a visiting delegation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Faculty members and students from the School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Medicine, and School of Marxism spent an afternoon engaging in academic exchange and discussion with the Lab team.

Professor Chan and her team introduced recent developments in their AI in Education research, and PhD student Wenjie Hu presented her doctoral work on generative AI and teamwork. The visit also included interactive discussions and collaborative activities, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for everyone involved.

Professor Chan expressed her appreciation to the delegation for the meaningful exchange and the enthusiasm they brought to the Lab. She noted that occasions like this highlight the significance of collaboration and mutual learning across institutions.
